3D environment work for one of my modules at University, the brief was to reimagine a scene or environment from an old game making use of Unreal 4 and modern day modelling and texturing techniques.
This was extremely fun to work on, since Fallout 3 was maybe the main game responsible for my passion and gateway into the world of Game Design, albeit on a smaller scale. I would spend countless hours on my cheap and underpowered laptop making use of the G.E.C.K to make my own scenes and environments inside the game, the main focus being Vaults! So to be able to make my own take on a Vault was an extremely fun project.
There is more stuff I would like to have added but time crept up on me slowly, the Vault door was planned for a remodel and retexture, as was the celling. However I decided to dedicate my time to building up the area and making it feel lived in; however that being said I am overall happy with what I was able to make and I am very happy with the extra skills I developed along the way.
As with most Vaults in the Universe having a dark and ulterior motive; I decided this one was to be no exception, with having only a sole inhabitant for the entire Vault.
All assets and texture work was made by myself.
